In April 2021 POSCO E&C Branch in Poland Crew entered the premises of the ZUSOK (Warsaw Waste Theral Plant) in Targówek district, Warsaw, to start works related to the modernization and expansion of the plant, under the contract concluded on November 30, 2020 with MPO (Municipal Cleaning Company) in Warsaw. The investment has many observers. On July 14, 2021, ZUSOK was visited by members of the Social Council*, established in 2015 by the MPO of Warsaw, as part of an open dialogue with the local community. In the newly created Information Center for the Development of ZUSOK, the Management Board of MPO presented information on the progress of construction works. The importance of investments for the district and the need for active relations with residents were also discussed 👬👭👬👭. The members of the Council watched the changes taking place on the construction site in the film made from the drone, as well as visiting the works front directly. They emphasized their support for the project and being its ambassadors in their communities. Meeting at ZUSOK was the implementation of the postulate from the previous meeting of the Council, which took place on March 28, 2021.
*The Social Council is composed of local authorities, residents, non-governmental organizations representatives, opinion leaders and experts. The body is advisory and consultative.
