Hydraulic test of K3 line boiler

Work at Warsaw’s ZUSOK is well advanced. On June 5, 2023, we safely and successfully conducted a pressure test of the first of the two new boilers. The assumed technical parameters were achieved (final steam parameters: 400℃, 40 bar).

Project Director & Vice President of POSCO E&C Mr. Tony Kang, summed it up as follows: “We have completed the hydraulic test for K3 line (…), as a result of our concerted efforts, we have successfully completed the water pressure test in boiler area, as one of important milestone of the Project. (…) I’m proud of all of our staffs, and I’m sure we’ll continue to create a success story with POSCO E&C. Once again, I would like to thank all of us and wish to all the best to continue our historic moments together.”
