We are consistently implementing the schedule to expand and modernize the Municipal Solid Waste Disposal Plant in Warsaw (ZUSOK). On a daily basis, we work in the conditions of an operating plant with an active technological line. The project is therefore more complicated to handle. There are works that requires downtime to complete, such as the work on a bunker that we have just started.

– In the ZUSOK expansion and modernization project, the 2nd shut down has started – said Site manager Henryk Mleczko, summarizing the status of the project as of August 17, 2021. – The thermal waste treatment installation has been stopped for four weeks. The disassembly of the devices in the bunker has started and the assembly of the waste belt conveyor is in progress. We are also carrying out works that will enable further demolition and the continuation of the reconstruction of the existing hall 06/07 for the purposes of a temporary waste storage facility. The temporary warehouse will operate until a new warehouse and boilers No. 2 and No. 3 are built.
