The Warsaw Power Plant (WWE) was on the agenda of the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea, who visited Poland on 19-20 May (2025). Minister Sangwoo Park attended a meeting of the OECD – an economic organisation of 38 highly developed and democratic countries. On this occasion, he met with our team at the Information Centre at 4 Zabraniecka Street, listened to a presentation on POSCO E&C’s activities in Poland since 2012 and visited the ‘WWE under construction’ project as an example of an investment currently being carried out by POSCO E&C in the role of general contractor. The delegation also included Secretary – Policy Advisor to Minister Sangwoo Park, Director of International Cooperation and Trade and other officials from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, President Bokhwan Kim and a representative of the Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND), 1st Secretary for Land, Infrastructure and Transport from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Poland.
Minister Sangwoo Park expressed his support for the successful implementation of the project by POSCO E&C and expressed his hope that the experience we are gaining leads us to a leadership position in this field.
