Guests from Jeollam-do province in South Korea

As part of a development program run by the Jeonnam Human Resources Lifelong Education Promotion Center, South Korea, officials from Jeollanam-do province visited us on September 2, 2024. The participants, during their week-long stay, will visit many new investments in Poland and Germany. The first meeting was held at the Information Center, which we operate for public communication and environmental education, in connection with the expansion and modernization of the Municipal Solid Waste Disposal Plant in Warsaw. The director of incineration plant / ZUSOK, Sławomir Cięciara, presented the history of the unit and the principles of the capital’s waste management. Our colleague – Hong Min Kim – briefed the guests on the specifics of the implementation of investment projects in Poland, the construction of a WtE plant in Cracow, which POSCO E&C errected before (2012-2016), and the ongoing expansion and modernization of the Warsaw WtE plant ZUSOK.
