Commissioning work in progress

Commissioning work is underway at ZUSOK. Monitoring of the drying and “cooking” of the boilers continues from the control room, using final control systems. The next step will be the so-called boiler blowdown, or more precisely, the blowing of steam collectors from the boilers to the turbine. The blowdown will clean and prepare the inner surfaces of the boilers for operation. We will also obtain optimal performance parameters for the power equipment – an important aspect because the incineration plant, while managing waste, will produce heat and electricity for Warsaw too.
