Today marks the beginning of the Korean Thanksgiving holiday – CHUSEOK. Literally meaning ‘autumn evening’, it symbolises the end of summer, but also reminds us that everything is temporary. During these days, Koreans give thanks for the harvest, hope for better times and visit family homes and ancestral graves.
